Research Interests

​Kalpana is working on segmentation of brain cells from 3D electron micrographs, with particular emphasis on glial cells (astrocytes, microglia), as well as their intracellular content, with the aim of reconstructing and analyze their 3D morphology and their structural relationship in the brain.
