Research Interests

Daniya’s research interests involve programmatically solving computational problems in various scientific domains such as molecular biology and biophysics. She is also interested in the following:
•  Optimizing existing algorithms involving 3D data analysis such as computing geometric properties of complex data morphologies, as well as  discovering data patterns and correlations.
•  Supporting analysis operations with data driven visualization techniques.
• Domain accurate geometrical representation of data in 3D space, volume rendering and mesh generation of 3D data models.
•  Developing efficient human-computer interaction methodologies to create interactive 3D analysis tools with the aid of VR technologies.
